Nice atmosphere for a nice meal
This place has the most obnoxiously blinding light. It literally hurts to drive past at night, they will never get my money for any reason. I would sleep in a ditch first.
I just stayed at this inn even though I read the two bad reviews and it really wasn't bad. Honestly, in this area of PA there are no name hotel/motels (Super 8, Days Inn, etc). You are in the Allegheny Forest and all that's around are independent motels. All the ones I looked into had bad reviews. But honestly, if you do not mind modest accommodations this is a good place to stay. The price was great. The room has a microwave, refrigerator, TV & air conditioner. The bathroom was clean & stocked. What more do you need? Yes, it is old and not up to date. It looks like 1970. Have a sense of adventure! Unless you camp or drive to a tourist town, there are no modern places. And the guy I dealt with was awesome. Nice guy and very helpful. I recommend.
I stayed here while transitioning jobs. My 5 month old daughter stayed with me. The proprietor was fantastic! Personable, accommodating and a gentleman. As a women with a small child, I found the accommodations safe and quiet. He checked on us daily to see if we needed anything. He even took the liberty to clean off our car during a snow storm. Twice!!! He is a class act. I would recommend this establishment for any family. Clean, quiet, safe and comfortable.
